Mike's journey into voiceovers started in 1999 as he packed in his job selling pictures & mirrors and moved into the world of Radio. Honing his presenting skills on hospital radio in Whitechapel he was soon making waves in commercial radio, tending the graveyard shift at FLR 107.3 in South East London. Having dealt with all the weirdos that call radio stations at 2am, they let him at the Breakfast show with great success. His one regret was a cancelled interview with Bille Piper, Chris Evans got his claws in and the rest as they say is history!
Mike soon spotted a new challenge and become the envy of all his mates as he got paid to watch sport and talk about it on radio across the UK. This took him to Wimbledon, the Ashes, Six Nations and a host of other blue riband events. All the while he harboured the ambition to move into voiceovers, having worked on campaigns for Royal Mail, Disky and Ocean Spray whilst in commercial radio and numerous other clients whilst working in sport.
In 2007 that dream became reality and since then he's worked with clients such as CBS, EMO, Icarus Olympic Sailing Media & the Max Planck Institute and honed his skills with help from the late voiceover great Bernard Shaw. Away from the studio Mike dreams of world domination on the oche as a keen darts player and is also a travel nut, backpacking round South America and Asia.
